British Election Study Film: Understanding British Democracy

The British Election Study team are pleased to announce the release of their film ‘The British Election Study: Understanding British Democracy’. The film was launched during a British Election Study event for journalists, politicians and researchers entitled ‘Insights into the 2015 General Election’, held at One Victoria Street in Westminster on Tuesday 9th December.

The film features members of the British Election Study team-Professors Ed Fieldhouse, Jane Green and Hermann Schmitt from the University of Manchester, Professor Geoff Evans from the University of Oxford (Nuffield) and Professor Cees van der Eijk from the University of Nottingham, as well as journalist and broadcaster Michael Crick and journalist and newscaster Alastair Stewart.

The film comprises three sections each covering areas such as the aims and design of the British Election Study, insights into democracy and political behaviour and innovations of the 2015 British Election Study.
