The contract for the online data collection component of the British Election Study was awarded to YouGov following an open competitive tender process. YouGov will have responsibility for gathering the online internet panel sample of respondents between 2014 and 2017, ensuring maximum wave-on-wave retention rates specified by the BES team, delivering the BES online surveys in the relevant fieldwork periods and providing technical reports and survey assistance to the BES team. The BES team are delighted to be working with YouGov and Political Director Joe Twyman on the 2015 BES.
